Our Company History
Anthony Edelen is the proud owner of Louie’s Cleaning and Disaster Restoration. He and his wife of nine years, Lisha, have a 6 year old son, Oscar and 4 year old daughter, Stella. Oscar and Stella are the center of their parents’ world. Anthony is very close with his family…so close in fact that he, Lisha, and their kids live right across the street from his parents. Anthony’s parents, Joe and Mary, were both very active professionals within the South Dakota political and USD Library system. Anthony has an older sister who is a Medic in the Army National Guard and a younger brother who has a position at the South Dakota Investment Office as a Portfolio Manager.
Anthony graduated from Vermillion High School in 1996 and attended Northwest Missouri State University and The Provincial Hogeschol of Limburg in Hasselt, Belgium. There he earned a degree in International Business with a minor in International Relations. Anthony has always had a knack for being in business for himself. In high school Anthony and his brother started up a tree-trimming business when Vermillion got hit very hard by a massive windstorm. Once he graduated high school and started his freshman year of college, he decided to start up a company called Miracle Detail which was a small auto detailing clinic that catered to professors and students.
After college Anthony moved to Aspen, Colorado where he held his first corporate position at the Gap. After delving into the corporate mindset he decided that it wasn’t right fit for him so he decided to start The Carpet Cleaning Company of Aspen and two other small businesses. After a period of five and half years he moved back to Vermillion. Anthony then decided to adapt his former carpet cleaning company and started The Carpet Cleaning Company of Vermillion. Within one year of business on his own, Anthony was approached by Louie’s Carpet Cleaning Service with the proposition to buy the company. Anthony gladly accepted the proposition and the rest is history!
